Data Recovery
We are all becoming more and more reliant on our pc's for things like
email, digital photos, music and a whole host of other applications. The trouble
is, if you don't have a backup of your data (and most people don't!) then a
failure of your hard drive, flash card or other storage medium can be absolutely
catastrophic.
Given the fragility of a hard drive (several plates spinning at 7,200 RPM with a
small read / write arm floating on a cushion of air!!), failure is an alarmingly
regular occurrence. A simple speck of dust lodged between these plates can
corrupt data and damage the drive permanently.
However, if you are unfortunate enough to have suffered data loss and have no
backup at your disposal, then don't panic! Technically Yours have access to some
pretty advanced tools and technology that can in many cases recover lost data
from a failed or broken hard drive, flash card or other storage medium. We can analyse the damaged drive for file fragments, attempt a data re-build and recovery and restore recovered data to a CD or other storage medium
Data recovery is not always guaranteed but the success rate is good and if those
precious family photos are irreplaceable, it is certainly worth a try! |
